The Hotchkiss group consist of two engineering companies both located in Kent.
John D Hotchkiss Limited and Westwell Developments Limited.

Westwell Developments limited was formed in 1980 to carry out the in-situ and site labour side of the Hotchkiss business to enabled a faster response for the insitu plant repairs both in the UK and overseas.
John D Hotchkiss Limited carries out general heavy engineering work including special machine manufacture at its West Kingsdown machine shops the fabric of which, is designed to combine both 30 Tonne over head travelling cranes to lift 60 Tonnes through its total length.
The group specialises in all types of heavy engineering, roll design, manufacture and repair.
While the Paper industry accounts for a large part of the company's business numerous other manufacturing sectors such as Metal reclamation, Cable making, Chemical, Mining, Cement, Printing, Shipping and Food industries call upon us for repair or refurbishment of their plant.
Hotchkiss and Westwell can design and manufacture special purpose machine tools fitted with in house developed software which runs on PC based CNC control systems for Roll Grinding and Roll Grooving.
