The Combi-Laser uses the well-known reverse indicator method, where two dial indicators are used. The Combi-Laser uses two visible red laser beams. The system consists of one display unit, two transmitter/detector units and universal fixtures.

The display shows, graphically and digitally, parallel offset, angular error, and required correction values. The Combi-Laser can be used for coupled or uncoupled shafts, with a resolution of 0.01mm at distances up to 10 meters.
